About the NZ Breakers

Since 2003

The New Zealand Breakers joined the NBL in 2003–04 and are the league's only club outside Australia. After a slow start, they became a dynasty, winning three championships in a row from 2010–11 to 2012–13 and a fourth in 2014–15.

The Breakers have also been an early home for Next Stars heading to the NBA, most famously RJ Hampton in 2019–20. Home games are played in Auckland, and trips across the Tasman are part of every team's season.
