The Sydney Kings lead the NBL27 ladder with a 2–0 record, ahead of the Brisbane Bullets (2–0). The ladder updates after every final siren.
In the format used in recent seasons, the top six make the finals. First and second go straight to the semi-finals, while third to sixth play a play-in tournament for the other two semi-final places. The semi-finals are best of three and the Grand Final is a best-of-five series.
Win percentage decides the order. When teams are level, the NBL looks at results between the tied teams, then percentage (points scored divided by points conceded, times 100). This ladder orders tied teams by percentage, so the official order can differ when a head-to-head tiebreaker applies.
On current records, the Illawarra Hawks have the toughest remaining schedule: the teams they still have to play have won 59% of their games.
